A central focus of our mission is youth development—using pickleball as a positive platform to teach teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, confidence, and lifelong healthy habits. Through structured team-based competition, youth and family programming, and community-centered events, we strive to create an environment where players can develop skills, build character, and form lasting connections. In partnership with local organizations and dedicated volunteers, COLGAMLP is committed to expanding access to pickleball and enriching our community both on and off the court.

The 2025 Fall League Season wrapped up its eight-week run in November, featuring a dedicated roster of 55 registered participants distributed across seven squads. To maximize both competitive balance and enjoyment, the teams were meticulously formed using a draft system that ensured equitable distribution of skill and experience. Throughout the season, player Captains voluntarily provided leadership for their respective squads. The intense and entertaining competition culminated in the championship final at Cooper Creek Park, where the Fountain City Flickers, captained by Casey Geringer, secured the gold championship trophy by defeating the formidable Team SWAT, led by Cody Phillips.

The Youth Pickleball League wrapped up an incredible season defined by organization, sportsmanship, and nonstop fun, highlighted by an amazing three-way tie as the Dinking Ducks, Fiery Flamingos, and Pickleball Pandas all finished with six points each. All 18 junior players who started the season proudly stayed committed through the finish, a true testament to how engaging and well-run the league was and how much the kids genuinely enjoyed being part of it. It’s clear this season was just the beginning, and the excitement, gratitude, and momentum around youth pickleball in Columbus are only getting stronger.

COLGAMLP wrapped up another successful season, bringing together 72 players across three competitive skill divisions, with an additional 8 substitute players helping keep the brackets full and the matches rolling all season long.
Elite Division — The top flight crowned Mario Mullins and VJ Smith as champions, a duo that brought consistency, court coverage, and clutch play through every round of competition.
Advanced Division — The Dill-Inquients, captained by Payton Mobley, took home the title. Payton's leadership held the squad together through a tightly contested division, and the team's depth proved to be the difference.
Intermediate Division — Zach Youngstrom led Dink and Destroy to the championship, living up to their name with a balanced mix of soft-game patience and put-away power that carried them through the bracket.
A huge thank-you goes out to every player, captain, and substitute who made the Spring 2026 season possible. The growth of the league, both in skill level and in community, continues to make COLGAMLP the best pickleball experience in the Chattahoochee Valley. Congratulations to all of our division champions, and we'll see everyone back on the courts for the next season!
