July 2025: The inaugural season of the Columbus Municipal League Pickleball successfully united 58 players across eight teams for three months of spirited competition. Players from the city's diverse demographic participated in 34 matches held at six different pickleball venues throughout Muscogee County. The league not only fostered friendly competition and sportsmanship, but also provided a valuable opportunity for the growing Columbus pickleball community to connect with new players and experience various courts. The season concluded with the city's first ever city-wide pickleball championship, marking a significant milestone for the sport in Columbus.
Congratulations to the "Cougars" for winning the trophy cup! The "Swans" took second while the "Let's Talk NIL" team placed third.
The 2025 Fall Season begins September 15th and we are hoping for more players to join the league to have some healthy, competitive fun on the courts!
